Good morning members! Yesterday we celebrated our first hot cocoa in the Park day and it was very successful. It was cold and the bonfire was awesome! I met a lot of wonderful dogs and their owners and we sold a lot of hot cocoa. I would like to thank the Malta Sunoco located at exit 12 on Route 9 for their donation of cups, lids, and the hot water containers for dispensing. I also want to thank H Owen Wood from Malta for donating the firewood for the bonfire. His business phone is 899-7790 if you need wood for outdoors or your wood stove for heating. Please support the businesses that support the Dog Park. We sold 4 dog tags, and raised a total of $118.35 for the Park. All the treats and drinks were donated so it was clear profit for the park. We will there again on the 24th so please think of stopping by to share your thoughts and ideas for the future of the Park. We continue to grow as one big happy Park family. Thank you all for all that you do to help us. I have a couple of new volunteers that check the waste stations and change the bags and it is just so helpful for our committee. We meet Monday January 12, at the Town Hall meeting room at 6:30. Pictures to follow!
The Town of Malta Global Foundries Foundation has awarded the Eastline Romp and Play Dog Park $2500.00 for park equipment. the grant includes benches, bulletin Board and ideas to paint the benches with the community for the second annual Anniversary Festival. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Good morning Eastline Romp and Play! D&R Lawn and Landscaping is going to plow the park driveway for the winter! Can you believe this generosity! This is great news for our four legged friends! They can play all winter. I would also like to thank Miko's owner for helping me with changing the waste stations. They were all over filled and tough to change, and he helped me with them all and helped me load them in the car to take to the town waste bin. He also offered to check them when he is there and change when necessary. Members volunteering is so wonderful especially as it is getting colder now. Please thank him when you see him and his wife and Miko at the park. They own the red and white husky. Frank, I am asking Bruce for the key to the barn tomorrow so there will be bags available on site if needed. Enjoy the day everyone! Play, Run, Play!
Good morning facebook friends! Eastline Romp and Play had their monthly meeting last night and I am passing on the notes to share. The added two fenced areas will begin this week or next. Please be aware when they are there it might be noisy for the pups. The two waste stations have arrived and one will be place in the small area and the other near the parking lot for those pups that are so anxious to get in the park they get nervous and have an accident. We are allotted $2,000.00 for paving of the handicap parking spot and pathway. So far, the lowest price is $2500.00. So we are not quite sure how to proceed yet with paving. We have sold over 14 banners for the Park which will provide for us to pay our insurance in one payment. thank you to the businesses that support us.Please give them your business as they have provided a great help to us. We are planning a photo shoot for October 18th at the park. A holiday photo shoot for your dog, family and dog, your choice. The photos will be $10.00 for a walkaway and if you want it digital and additional $5.00. I think this will be a huge success as we all love to have professional pictures taken and the price is great! Our second annual festival is in the planning with many new ideas planned. Stay tunes for more on that! We will start next next year park tags November 1st. The tag will be colored with the year on it and numbered. You can clip the tag onto your dog's collar if you so choose. Thank you for your continued support and we all look forward to a huge successful 2015! Please take pictures of the fencing going up if you are over there when it goes up! We can post them so everyone can be a part of the growth of our Park! thanks again, Flo
